I would like to know what this porcupine was really saying:-) He sounds just like a small child trying to talk. I have to admit, I have never thought about a porcupine liking corn on the cob! Just when I thought I'd heard it all... I have a lot to learn!LOL

I remember this story from awhile back, and wanted to share it with you! It is truly amazing that this guy wasn't hurt! God's angels were watching out for this guy! I don't know of anyone else who can say they rode on the grill of a semi at 50mph for a few miles! No thanks! The trucker was unaware of it all, of course, until he was pulled over by police! Imagine his surprise!
I don't know where you're at in your life right now, or how you got on the road you're on, but I know if you let Jesus take the wheel of your life, He will make sure you arrive at the right destination, safely and on time.

No matter where you live on this planet, there are always people in need. The Bible says in Acts 20:35, "And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive." Jesus demonstrated this loving principle every day of His life on this planet. He must have shared everything when He was a boy growing up, because the Bible makes it clear that He did so as an adult!
I am director of the Seventh-day Adventist Community Services Center in the town where I live, and there are many in need. It is a blessing to help them. There are many with spiritual, emotional, mental, financial, physical, social and vocational needs. Only Jesus can fill those needs through all of us:-)

I don't know who wouldn't be touched by this story...Jesus Christ, God's only Son came down to this dark planet to save the likes of you and I. He didn't have to, but wanted to, to save us from our sins. When we ignore Jesus' sacrifice on our behalf, it hurts Him deeply. It hurts His Father deeply. It hurts the Holy Spirit deeply, because They know that it hurts you and I if we ignore Jesus. Ignore Him no longer. He loves you deeply. Whatever you are facing, Jesus has the answer, and He is ready to help.
John 3:16.17 says, "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him."
God didn't come to condemn you, He came to save you. You wouldn't run out into the street to save your child from being hit by a truck to condemn him, but to save him. You wouldn't yell, hey you rebellious child, your going to be hit, sorry! No, you would run to him/her to save them! That's what Jesus has done for you and I! What amazing love is displayed on the cross of calvary.
Right now in the Most Holy Place in heaven, Jesus stands as our advocate, against the accusations of the enemy, satan. Just give Jesus your heart & life and ask Him to change you. He will:-)

This is a truly miraculous story! Matthew 18:10 says, "Watch that you don't treat a single one of these childlike believers arrogantly. You realize, don't you, that their personal angels are constantly in touch with my Father in heaven?" We are all assigned an angel at birth, a guardian to help us get to know Jesus, to prepare for Jesus' coming and heaven.
My dad saw an angel one time. My mother was 23 at the time, and was facing kidney surgery. Dad was sitting beside her bed with his head in his hands, and four little kids at home. He looked up and there stood an angel at the foot of the bed. It was a great comfort to dad.
God's angels never accept worship, and they never go against Bible truth. God's angels NEVER appear, sound or act like dead loved ones! God's angels can do what they do only because God gives them the power to do so!

The first shows a guy who was going at the crazy speed of 165mph as he was being chased by cops on the freeway! This is an amazing video! God Almighty's angels were with this man! It shows me just how much God loves us, even though we are rebellious!

of protection around us while we pray.

52 year old Swiss Yves Rossy, the worlds first jet-powered man, flew in formation with Jet planes over the Swiss Alps recently. He can fly up to 190mph., and he flies high! He can have it! I'm content to watch!
The Bible says in 1Thessalonians 4:16-18, "For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever. So encourage each other with these words."
So, jet man, if you know Jesus when He comes, you will fly through the universe! No jet pack needed!

No matter what happens, Jesus is in control, and He loves you. He has a plan! Jeremiah 29:11 says,
This is God's Word on the subject: "As soon as Babylon's seventy years are up and not a day before, I'll show up and take care of you as I promised and bring you back home. I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." He did fulfill His promise to Israel, even though things didn't always go as they had planned. Things went as God planned:-)

When sea ice forms on the surface of salty bodies of water, it leaves behind a brine that is so salty, it sinks — fast. As this happens, the sea water around it freezes instantly, according to BBC, forming what’s called a “brinicle”, or “icicle of death.”

We have an AMAZING Creator God who, Exodus 20:11 says, " For in six days God made Heaven, Earth, and sea, and everything in them; he rested on the seventh day. Therefore God blessed the Sabbath day; he set it apart as a holy day." God made the heavens and the earth and everything in them. Although, when He created earth perfect, nothing experienced death, including sea creatures!

We all have been guilty of trying to make ourselves look better than someone else. Adam & Eve played the blame game in the Garden of Eden, right after they sinned. Genesis 3:12,13 says, The man replied, “It was the woman you gave me who gave me the fruit, and I ate it.” 13 Then the Lord God asked the woman, “What have you done?”
“The serpent deceived me,” she replied. “That’s why I ate it." So Adam blamed Eve and the rest is history.
Try to remember to put others ahead of yourself. Jesus said in Matthew 7:12, "Here is a simple, rule-of-thumb guide for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you, then grab the initiative and do it for them. Add up God's Law and Prophets and this is what you get". It's called the golden rule:-)

A few months ago in Izmir, Turkey, a very brave man jumped in a burning petrol tanker truck to try to keep it from exploding in a neighborhood! This guy deserves a medal of honor for risking his life for others. It would have been a disaster if it would have exploded. Many vehicles were burned in the process, but not people!
Satan tried to take this planet hostage through the explosive, destructive problem called sin. Jesus took the dangerous consequences of sin upon Himself, to save you and I from being burned up in hell. Ezekiel 33:11 says, "Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turnye, turnye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?" Everyone who accepts Jesus as Saviour is spiritual Israel. Galatians 3:29
He had you on His mind when He was driving the tanker away from you. He was praying that you would notice what He did for you. He's longing for you to notice what He is doing for you now. He is desiring for you to know Him. If you haven't, give Him your heart, and you'll never regret it! I KNOW!

Just west of Australia, in the Indian Ocean, scientist have identified two large chunks of sunken rock — once thought to be just part of the seabed — as part of the ancient continent Gondwana.
Up until now, scientists pretty much only knew where these two plateaus were located and that combined they were the size of West Virginia, but a recent study that dredged samples from them found evidence that they were once continental, according to National Geographic. National Geographic continues with more details:
Rather than the normal basalt rock of most seabeds, the scientists pulled up chunks of granite, gneiss, and sandstone— rocks normally found on continents.
Some samples even contained fossils, said team member Joanne Whittaker, a marine geophysicist at the University of Sydney in Australia.
“It’s quite clear that these two plateaus are little fragments of Gondwana left behind as India moved away from Australia,” Whittaker said

The Telegraph reports that these rocks being dated at up to 1 billion years old and states that they are currently being compared with rock compositions on Australia’s west coast to verify the origin:
Similar matching was not possible with India because the relevant coast was now “smashed into the Himalayas somewhere,” said Whittaker.
“It’s very significant, it’s not every day you discover two large continental fragments on the ocean floor,” she said.
“Together with some of the other data this has the potential to change how we’ve been modelling that part of the world and that timeframe.”
National Geographic also points out that the scientists found out that the plateaus, which they thought initially had flat tops, were actually composed of rolling hills. The types of fossils found were like those that would be found in shallow seabeds, like mollusks.
The researchers hope that further analysis of this site and the samples could shed light on the break up of Gondwana.

My belief is that the land masses shifted during the great flood that the Bible tells about in Genesis chapters 6-7! This earth is not billions of years old, but close to 6000 yrs. old. I believe the earth looked much different before the flood. Mountain chains formed, canyons formed, vegetation was buried, animals and people were buried, precious metals were buried.

My mom, Janice, has been hospitalized since Oct. 21st, and she has gone through so much in her life, but yet has an astounding faith in God! She loves Jesus so much!
The other day when I was visiting her, she was laying there with her hands almost solid black and blue from IV's, ect... bruises on her arms and chest. She bruises very easily because of prescription drugs she is on. She was laying there talking about how she was in pain, but Jesus hurt so much more when He was on the cross, for us. Mom often thinks about Jesus in her pain.
She was going down a bus ramp and was thrown from her power chair less than 2 years ago. She crushed her knee and broke her femur bone. In the waiting area before surgery(she was very high risk), she was in so much pain, and she cried out, "Jesus, I can't imagine how much you must have hurt. I love you, Jesus!" I started crying right there. Here she was thinking of Jesus in her pain. The tears are flowing as I write this... She made it through surgery after being sent to ICU to be stabilized for a few days, and was once again, a miracle. She has several health issues to deal with.
Mom hasn't walked for around 10 years. She began having Rheumatoid Arthritis around the age of 30. She has been such a witness for Jesus, through her trials. She has been a miracle so many times, praise God!
When Jesus comes in the sky, soon, mom will be made new, and I believe will be one of those running to meet Jesus. She will be one of those who will run the quickest, and jump the highest, right into His arms!
Revelation 21:1-4 says, " Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. 4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

Thank You, Jesus, for taking so much pain for me, and for the person reading this. I love You Jesus! I love You, Heavenly Father and Holy Spirit! Thank You, that You are helping mom!
I pray for her complete healing, which would go viral around the planet, but only if it's Your will. In Jesus' name, amen. God has perfect timing, although we don't always see it that way for awhile.

Koko the gorilla has an amazing vocabulary of at least 1000 sign language signs. But also amazing to me is the love she shows to her baby kitten. She is so gentle and protective.
This reminds me of what heaven will be like where all of the animals will be friends, and we will be able to pet and play with any of them without fear. Isaiah 65:25 says, "The wolf and the lamb will feed together.
The lion will eat hay like a cow.
But the snakes will eat dust.
In those days no one will be hurt or destroyed on my holy mountain.
I, the Lord, have spoken!” Heaven is going to be filled with animals to love and enjoy! Personally, I want to hug a big white tiger, and put my ear against him and hear his Harley purr:-) LOL

We have an awesome God, to create such beauty for you and I to enjoy. He is so far beyond our understanding, but yet loves us still. Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."
God's love for you hasn't changed, but stays constant. He loved you when He formed you in the womb, and He still loves you the same now. He has followed you from the womb to the place where you are in your life now. If anything, He loves you even more, now. There is nothing you can do to make Him love you less, and there is nothing you can do to make Him love you more. No matter what you've done or haven't done, He loves you the same.
Amazing thought, that the Creator of the universe wants to know you personally. He came down to this earth, God with skin on, 100% God, 100% man. He came to be born and live as a human, to know what it feels like. He never used His divinity to overcome, but relied totally on His Father to remain sinless. He gives you His righteous character and overcoming power, if you ask Him into your heart. What an amazing Creator you and I have! John 1:1-3, 14 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." And because Creator God, Jesus Christ, knows what it is like to be human, knows how it feels to struggle as a human, knows what it's like to be you, John 5:22 says, " The Father doesn’t judge anyone, but he has given all judgment to the Son." Now that is love! God the Father wants you to have the best chance to be with Him forever, so He lets His Son, who KNOWS what it's like to be human, be your judge! That is a win/win situation!
In the ancient Jewish culture, a judge was actually a lawyer, defender. How could you lose, unless you choose to walk away? Jesus is Creator God and He made you REAL, much better than HD!

My puppy, Peaches, pictured with me in the profile picture, will be 1 year old soon, and I am so thankful for her! She is so loving, protective, sweet and loyal. She loves to play! We can learn a lot from the unconditional love that our animal friends shower us with everyday.
Animals are much smarter than we realize...
Genesis 1:24,25 & 28 says, " Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good." " So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Dominion in this verse means, to rule over. We are to take care of the animals, make sure they have what they need to thrive.

It seems like days go so fast, and many times we run through life without having God in our thoughts. We need to take a look at who we are(identity), why we're here(purpose) and where we're going(destination). We are either speeding towards heaven or hell. We are either living in light or darkness.
God created you unique. No one else that has ever lived or ever will live has looked like you or had your personality or talents! God created you for a specific purpose that no one else can do. He created you because He wants a relationship with you, and wants you to share Him with others! He wants to live with you in heaven.
Genesis is about Eden and the fall of humanity into sin. We have all sinned. Through the Bible God pursues His wayward children. God is pursuing you. He wants to know you as His personal friend. He loves you. If He didn't, He wouldn't have sent His only son to die for you... In the book of Revelation, Eden is restored to all those who accept Jesus as their Saviour who forgives their sins and give them His righteousness. God wants you in heaven!
So, think about the destination you are speeding towards. Give Jesus your heart, ask Him to change it, and let Him steer you! Proverbs 21:1 says, "The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the Lord; he guides it wherever he pleases." Put your name in place of the word king...
This is the most amazing video of earth from space that I have seen yet! wow! What God must think when He looks down on planet earth, as He sees every person He has created. He has created so much beauty even on this sinful planet! He also sees all of the suffering, and it grieves His heart.
Jesus is Creator and Redeemer, and someday soon, He is going to come the second time to this planet, and take all of those who have ever known and loved Him, to heaven! John 14:1-3 says, "Don't let this throw you. You trust God, don't you? Trust me. There is plenty of room for you in my Father's home. If that weren't so, would I have told you that I'm on my way to get a room ready for you? And if I'm on my way to get your room ready, I'll come back and get you so you can live where I live."

Yes, God will make his home among his people. 4He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. I just want to take the time to thank all of the veterans for their service to this great nation!!!!!!!
I also want to thank the families that have sacrificed so much to have their loved ones away, fighting for our freedoms!!!!!!! I am so grateful for freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, and all of our liberating freedoms in the USA! We are blessed by God Almighty!
I am especially grateful for those who gave their all, their lives,for me to be able to enjoy continued freedom... As they say, freedom isn't free. There has been a lot of American blood spilled for our freedoms.
This takes my mind back about 2000 yrs. ago, to a man called Jesus and a cross on Calvary. Jesus died for our ultimate freedom from sin and death. Not just a temporary freedom like America enjoys, but an eternal freedom with God, in His kingdom, that will stand forever!
Revelation 21:1-5 says, "I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth had disappeared, and so had the sea. Then I saw New Jerusalem, that holy city, coming down from God in heaven. It was like a bride dressed in her wedding gown and ready to meet her husband.
I heard a loud voice shout from the throne:
God's home is now with his people. He will live with them, and they will be his own. Yes, God will make his home among his people. He will wipe all tears from their eyes, and there will be no more death, suffering, crying, or pain. These things of the past are gone forever." No more war, no more hospitals, no more divorce, no more abuse, no more addiction, no more lies, no more fear, no more loneliness, no more! Jesus said on the cross, "It is finished!" Sin will be forever finished, NO MORE!!!!!!! Praise God for His love and mercy to all of us on this planet!

The cat in a cobra pose REALLY means business!
When satan tries to come against us, Jesus stands in between and protects His own! He means business!!!!!!! Matthew 28:18 Jesus said, "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." He also said in the Old Testament in Zechariah 2:8, "For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that touches you touches the apple of his eye" In the next verse, put your name in place of Jeshua the high priest and Jerusalem!Zechariah 3:1,2 says, Then the angel showed me Jeshua(Joshua) the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord. The Accuser, Satan, was there at the angel’s right hand, making accusations against Jeshua. And the Lord said to Satan, “I, the Lord, reject your accusations, Satan. Yes, the Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you. This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.”
No matter how the enemy tries to come against you, Jesus is there to protect you from satan's wrath. To sum it up, Jesus has all power, you are the apple of His eye, and He protects you night and day from the enemy's wrath.
My mom is experiencing the ire of the enemy right now, as satan tries to oppress her. She is in the intensive care unit, but gaining ground as Jesus holds her. Jesus is standing before her, behind her, on both sides of her, above her and below her! He is her armor! She is in His arms and at His mercy as we all are.
Jesus means business, much more than the cat in the cobra pose!!!!!!! Jesus is rebuking the enemy for you as you read this, and he is doing it all over this sin sick planet. Praise God!

There is no other way to explain this story other than a miracle of God! This is a heartwarming story about the power of our God in a family!
Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, "But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God allthings are possible."
You know that mountain you're facing? Jesus will move it, or He'll carry you over it.
Miracles happen along with any of life's blessings, because Jesus saved this planet by dying on the cross for the likes of you and I. Every blessing has the cross of Calvary written all over it!
Jesus wants to capture your heart. He forgives all sin. Let Him move the mountain that keeps you from waking up to Him...
So, this is what news anchors do during commercial breaks! Wow, these guys memorized a lot of synchronized moves! I bet they never dreamed they would be a big viral hit!
Before you were born, God created you in your mother's womb, and He knew exactly what you would look like, where you would live, what job/s you would/will choose, who you would/will marry, what would tempt you, what struggles you would have, what would make you happiest, your hair color, your eye color, your height, what talents you would have, your emotional make up, your intelligence, your unique personality, and even who your friends would be. Psalm 139:13-16 says, " Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother's womb.
I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.

before I'd even lived one day." God knew what these news anchors would do for a living and for commercial breaks, and He loves them and you very much! He has a plan for you! Jeremiah 33:3 says, "I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for." So, ask Him to work out His plans for your life! God knows exactly what you need! He knows everything! Your life circumstances haven't caught Him by surprise! He knows you! Jeremiah 33:2,3, "This is God's Message, the God who made earth, made it livable and lasting, known everywhere as God: 'Call to me and I will answer you. I'll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own."

These parents told their kids they ate all their halloween candy, and they all believed them! It's like the ultimate kid tease! They were relieved when the parents told them the truth, I'm sure!
Satan tries to steal the blessings God glitters across our pathway every day, but God doesn't let him take our joy. Even though it may seem like darkness is in control, darkness is NOT, and God has already won the war! The Bible says in John 10:10, " The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life."
No matter what it looks like, Jesus IS in control, and He adores you...He never takes anything unless He's gives you something better in return!

I don't know the hard times you have had to face in your life, or what you're going through right now,
but I do know when God allows what seems like impossible situations, and you cry out, why God, He has a miracle just around the corner. Evey hard spot in your life is when He is carrying you, holding you closest, and it is an opportunity for a miracle! 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, "No test or temptation that comes your way is beyond the course of what others have had to face. All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he'll never let you be pushed past your limit; he'll always be there to help you come through it."
Just like the tree tunnel below, you may not see your way out, but God does. Just let Him lead you there.

I thought I had heard it all until I heard this chicken fiddler!!!!!!! I have to give her an A for effort:-) She did make me laugh a little:-) I am sure I would not be so willing to be uninhibited in front of a camera!

Zephaniah 3:16,17 says, "Jerusalem will be told:
"Don't be afraid. Dear Zion, don't despair.
Your God is present among you,
a strong Warrior there to save you.
Happy to have you back, he'll calm you with his love and delight you with his songs." Unlike miss chicken fiddler, when God will sing to us in heaven, God's songs will totally delight us, and thrill through our whole being!
