Human Influence On This Planet Over The Past 13 Years...

  
Using a PC and data collected during a 13 year timeframe, Canadian anthropologist Felix Pharand created a pictorial documentary of the spread of different technologies over the world, showcasing how we‘ve ’domesticated’ Earth.

The Daily Mail reports:

Earlier this week, the United Nations Populations Fund revealed that by October 31st, there will be an extra billion people on the Earth compared to 1999.
According to the UN it has been estimated of all the humans ever born, over 6 percent, are walking the Earth today.
‘These pictures show several sides of global human activities,’ said 34-year-old Felix, from Montreal, Canada. ‘We see everything from paved and unpaved roads, light pollution, railways, electricity transmission lines.’
‘It shows the extent of our civilization, the patterns of our global sprawl, how human-influenced our planet now is.’

The top satellite photo is Africa's road, rail and data transmission Lines.  Look closely and you can see the data cables running under the sea.
  The middle photo is air traffic over Eurasia, and the bottom photo is air traffic between America and Europe!  Images are by Felix Pharand of the Daily Mail. 
  As of right now, 3 percent of the earth — about the size of India — is covered in asphalt Pharand said to the Daily Mail. But he’s not despondent about the state of technological growth and domestication by humans. The Daily Mail reports him as saying “‘Many human activities reached take-off points sometime in the mid-20th Century and sharply accelerated towards the end of the century. These shots are a tool to raise awareness – I think we have a duty to remain optimistic in our hearts.”
  Daniel 12:4 says, "But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase."

Productivity Future Vision(2011)

 
So, this is productivity's future vision? 
  The one thing I see is missing in this productivity future vision video, even though it is cool to watch, is the close, relational human interaction with one another and with Creator God and the things He created.  God has given man any capability he has to invent for the good of others.  Man's intellect was created by God, so that God could interact with mankind on a personal level. 
  Technology can be used for good, but it cannot solve our personal problems such as divorce, marital problems, abuse, addictions, financial problems, on the job problems, and the list goes on.  Only God Almighty can do that.   Technology cannot love.  John 3:16,17 says, "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person's failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him."
  I love some technology, but it doesn't love me.  Jesus loves you and I, and that's what matters!

Cats Try To Understand Treadmill

These cats are trying to understand what in the world this treadmill is!!!  It is so funny to watch!
  Sometimes there are things that happen in your life that you can't make sense of, that seem hard to understand.  Your loving Heavenly Father is right there with you, watching every moment.  He will not allow you to be overwhelmed.  God is your Unseen Watcher and Protector.  Psalm 121 says, " ¹ I look up to the mountains—
does my help come from there?
² My help comes from the Lord,
who made heaven and earth!
³ He will not let you stumble;
the one who watches over you will not slumber.
⁴ Indeed, he who watches over Israel
never slumbers or sleeps.
⁵ The Lord himself watches over you!
The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade.
⁶ The sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon at night.
⁷ The Lord keeps you from all harm
and watches over your life.
⁸ The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go,

Husky Dog Talking-I Love You

This is a beautiful husky dog talking, saying I love you to his owners.  Animals are so much more intelligent than we realize they are.  God created them with selfless love, and their loyalty is an inspiration! 

  My 10 month old puppy, Peaches is so much fun!  I can't get her to say I love you yet, but she loves to wrap her legs around my arms and look at me:-)  She's a sweetheart!  She is part Labradoodle/German Shepard.  I thank God for blessing me with her:-) 

  God's love is absolutely selfless, and that is displayed in the cross of calvary.  John 3:16-18 says,"This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. Bear Cub In Alaskan Grocery Store

This bear cub in an Alaskan grocery store knew what was good for him.  He was rummaging through the produce section instead of the SAD(Standard American Diet) section:-) 
  I love all baby animals, and am thankful to God for creating all the diverse animals that we all enjoy around this planet!  You look at the giraffe, rhinoceros, elephant, duck-billed platypus and many others and realize our Creator God has a great sense of humor!  His creativity is never surpassed!  The Bible says in Genesis 1:20-27, "
^20-23 God spoke: "Swarm, Ocean, with fish and all sea life!
Birds, fly through the sky over Earth!"
God created the huge whales,
all the swarm of life in the waters,
And every kind and species of flying birds.
God saw that it was good.
God blessed them: "Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Ocean!
Birds, reproduce on Earth!"
It was evening, it was morning—
Day Five.

^24-25 God spoke: "Earth, generate life! Every sort and kind:
cattle and reptiles and wild animals—all kinds."

The iPhone 4S vs Samsung Galaxy S ll drop test is expensive!  I can't afford to ruin an iPhone!:-)
  It looks like one has a stronger covering than the other.  We need God's protective covering for this life journey we're on.  There is a spiritual battle going on, and only God can fight it for us. We must have His protection every moment of the day and night!   Jesus won the battle when He bought you and I on the cross, He paid the price and overcame death for us.  Only He can fight off the foe for us! 
  God says in Ephesians 6:10-17,  ¹⁰ "A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. ¹¹ Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. ¹² For we^[c] are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
¹³ Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. ¹⁴ Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. ¹⁵ For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.^{[d] 16} In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.^{[e] 17} Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 
  Let God put His protective covering of the righteousness of Jesus on you.  It is a free gift.  He is willing to forgive you and I of our filthy sins and to fill us with His perfect character.  That is the strongest covering on this little planet and the universe!!!!!!!

Quantum Levitation-Cool Magnetized Science Experiment

Isn't scuence amazing?! This quantum levitation project I find fascinating to say the least!!! Our Creator God has just let us barely scratch the surface of what He knows!  We think it's amazing to see in 3D, but God has the ability to see limitless dimensions, and not only that, He creates them!  He created physics!  Just imagine what fun you can have in heaven where the creative possibilities are endless!  Imagine God's angels breaking the speed of light, and flying through 100 dimensions!  WOW!  1 Corinthians 2:9 says, "That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”^[
  God has given each one of us unique creative abilities, and He wants us to use them to help those around us, and to glority Him! So, enjoy the ability that God has given only you, and help those around you!  It will give you practice for heaven!:-)

Criminal Penguins-Frozen Planet-BBC One

I never thought of penguins being criminal, but this one is definitely being a little thief! 

  So many think they have the right to what other people have worked hard for, and throw fits when they don't get what they think they deserve. 

  To be honest, none of us deserve the blessings we receive from God's hand, but He lovingly sprinkles them on our life, anyway.  How about looking at the best gift the universe has ever had, and that is Jesus Christ giving His life for you and I.  How about taking a look at the cross of calvary, the selfless love of Creator God being willing to leave the presence of His Father to come down to this dark planet, and risk everything including never seeing His Father again, to save the likes of you and I.  He came to give, not demand.  True love thinks about others first, not me first.  So, when you see people stealing from others, or demanding what others have, try remembering Jesus Christ...  The 10 commandmenst say, Thou shall NOT covet.  Jesus said in Matthew 7:12, “Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets."

Zanesville Ohio, Exotic Animals Loose! Lions, TIgers & Bears, OHMY!

In Zanesville Ohio, several exotic animals escaped a wildlife preserve, and were about 5 football fields in length away from the preserve.  The owner of the preserve let the animals out and then comitted suicide.  A monkey is still unaccounted for.  18 Bengal tigers and a monkey had to be shot along with 29 other animals, and several animals including lions and grizzly bears were rounded up and sent to other zoos.  This is a tragedy.
  A 911 call about a lion seen from someone's house tipped off authorities!  Officials have contacted schools to let parents know that kids shouldn't be walking home from school.                                         The Bible says in 1Peter 5:8, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Jesus watches over us and defends us day and night, if we have surrendered our heart and life to Him.  Please accept Him as your Saviour if you have not.

Clever Dog Plays Fetch With Himself

 This dog wants to play, and isn't willing to wait for his owner to be on the same page, so he decides to do the next best thing, and being clever, plays fetch with himself!

  Have you ever felt like God wasn't paying attention to you?  That your prayers weren't going beyond the ceiling? But, He knows what we need, and realizes that what may seem better for us from our perspective, isn't good for us at all.  He may allow something that seems difficult.  The difficulty may seem pointless at the time, but it strengthens us. 

  Proverbs 3:5,6 says, " Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track.
  So, no matter what you are going through, if you are lonely, the day seems long, the night too quiet, the task too big, the struggle too intense, just remember there is a loving unseen Watcher in the heavens who holds you in His heart. He knew your circumstance before it happened, and already has it worked out for you!   GIve your heart, life and future to Him, and it will be okay!  

Updated Footage Will Power's onboard cam of crash-Indy Champion Dan Wheldon Killed In 15 Car Crash

Indy driving champion Dan Wheldon, two time Indy winner, was killed today at the Las Vegas Speedway during the Izod season finale. There was a 15 car pile up with 3 airborne cars at one point. One car was launched in the air for 200 yards.  Dan was caught in the crash, coming from behind and launched off of the car in front of him, crashing into the fence.  His car then burst into flames.  He died a short time later at the hospital.  Dan was 33, married in 2008 and left behind two young children. He was competing for a 5 million dollar prize.  Our prayers are with his family.
 

“I’ll tell you, I’ve never seen anything like it,” Ryan Briscoe said. “The debris we all had to drive through the lap later, it looked like a war scene from Terminator or something. I mean, there were just pieces of metal and car on fire in the middle of the track with no car attached to it and just debris everywhere. So it was scary, and your first thoughts are hoping that no one is hurt because there’s just stuff everywhere. Crazy.”
  John 14:18 says, "I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you."  Psalm 147:3 says, "He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.
  When Jesus comes, there will be no more tears, no more pain, no more suffering.  Revelation 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."

Oskar The Blind Kitten Versus Hair Dryer-Epic Cat Battle

Like Oskar the blind kitten, we are fighting an unseen foe.  There is a spiritual battle going on every day over our souls.  Satan has come to kill, steal and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life more abundantly, John 10:10. 
  The Holy Spirit is an unseen force that is constantly warning us, trying to lead us away from trouble and to Jesus.  Jesus said in John 3:8, "The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”  We can't see the Holy Spirit, but we can sure feel Him working in us, changing our hearts, filling us with loving attributes, instead of our natural inclination to selfishness. 
  We cannot battle the unseen foe, satan, on our own.  Jesus has to do that for us, because He has already won the battle against darkness and sin for us, and the enemy of our souls is subject to Jesus.  Matthew 28:18 says, "Jesus came and told his disciples, I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth."  Jesus has already defeated the enemy for us, and He knows where the enemy is at and what he is up to at all times.  Jesus has to fight this spiritual battle for us every step of the way, and He is willing to!  Just ask Him.  I'll close this blog with 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. ⁴ For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, ⁵ casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ."

8 Killed In California Beauty Salon Shooting

 

  Around 1:30 PM today a man walked into a California beauty salon in Seal Beach, where his ex-wife worked, and opened fire, killing 8 people with 1 in critical condition. 

  In this mostly quiet beach community, people are stunned.  There was a similar incident about 4 yrs. ago in this close knit community, but not this horrific. 

  Please pray for all involved. 

  John 10:10 says, "A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of.  John " John 14:18, 27 says, "I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you." “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid."

Mountain BIker Gets Taken Out By A Buck-crazy footage-only in Africa!

This mountain biker in Africa was hit by a buck while riding in a competition.  It pays to wear a protective helmet!  God Almighty's angels were protecting him for sure.  Even with a helmet, he could have been fatally injured.  Psalm 34:7 says, " For the angel of the Lord is a guard; He surrounds and defends all who fear him."  Psalm 103:20,21 says, " Praise the Lord, you angels, you mighty ones who carry out his plans, listening for each of his commands.Yes, praise the Lord, you armies of angels who serve him and do his will!"
  Whether or not you are aware of it, Creator God's angels are all around you night and day, protecting you from the enemy, satan.  From the time you were born to now, they have been your special guardians.  Matthew 18:10 says, "Watch that you don't treat a single one of these childlike believers arrogantly. You realize, don't you, that their personal angels are constantly in touch with my Father in heaven?"  
  So, thank God Almighty right now for His mercy and loving watchcare to YOU!

Simon's Cat In 'Double Trouble'

Simon's cat is definitely in double trouble in this video! 
   Satan tempts us to covet what isn't ours and it could be someone's else's car, clothing, house, spouse, money, career, food, talent, power or friends.  He leads many to rebel against God's 10 commandment law, and steal, lie or commit adultery and even murder in order to get what they covet, what isn't rightfully theirs. 
Romans 3:23 says, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God"  Romans 3: 22, 24-26 says, " The God-setting-things-right that we read about has become Jesus-setting-things-right for us. And not only for us, but for everyone who believes in him. For there is no difference between us and them in this. Since we've compiled this long and sorry record as sinners (both us and them) and proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us, God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ." 
  Like Simon's cat, we would all be in double trouble and more without Jesus!!!

Lily's Disneyland Surprise!

  Jesus is going to surprise us when He comes,  much better than Lily's disneyland surprise, and take us to heaven, the most beautiful, fun place in the universe!  He loves to give us happy hearts and memories.  He loves you so much and wants to give you things in life that will make you smile all over.  John 10:10 says, "A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of."
  Jesus wants to bless you.  He wants to hear and see our joy that is a direct result of His blessings.  He wants to hear gratitude for the blessings he glitters your everyday pathway with, just as you want the same thing from those you love, as you bless them!  Any pure, good impulse in our heart always comes straight from the heart of God.
  Think of something today that God has blessed you with, and thank Him for it!  Thank someone else for how much they have blessed your life and add a big smile! 
  There are plenty of hard times in life, but a blessing is always hiding behind the clouds.

This was a great, heartfelt message that Steve Jobs gave in 2005. He had a very interesting story to share. God endowed him with rich gifts
The one thing I noticed missing from his address was the mention of God Almighty. I do pray that he believed in and knew Creator God in the heavens and our Saviour, Jesus.

Apple-Introducing Siri On iPhone 4S-

Wow!  The iPhone 4S with Siri is impressive!  It is nothing compared to Jesus!  The meaning in this life is in knowing that Jesus loves you, and you are worth much more than the iPhone 4S with Siri!!!!!!!  Psalm 139:13-18 says, "    
¹³ For You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
¹⁴ I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;^[b]
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
¹⁵ My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

NO NO NO NO CAT

This video is hilarious!  This cat has just seen, for the first time, the daughter of it's owner's friend.  I would have been laughing so hard:) 
  Their NO NO NO NO cat brought to mind what our reaction should be to temptation.  Satan, the enemy of our souls, has tailor-made temptations for you and I.  The Bible says in 1 Peter 5:8, Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour."  So, the enemy tempts us in order to lead us into sin, and ultimately to destroy us.  But the Bible says in Hebrews 4:15 "This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin."  Jesus, our High Priest, said no to the enemy time after time by quoting scripture to him.  He has His overcoming power to give to us.  He actually changes our desires, our emotions, our thoughts, our heart.
  Did you know that they have now found that the human heart actually has it's own brain?  It has many more neurons than the human brain!  Jesus, with permission can come in and change the molecular structure of our bodies to heal, he can heal our emotions and our thought processes.  Memorizing scripture helps to heal our mind, body and emotions, therefore our soul! 
  David the Psalmist said in Psalm 119:11, "I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."  God's word is alive and powerful and has the ability to change our hearts and mind!  All God has to do is speak, and things happen.  In Genesis 1, it says repeatedly and God said...  When God spoke, worlds came into existence!  He said, "Let there be light, and there was!"  My point with this is, when you let God's word into your mind and heart, it will give you His power in your life to resist temptation.  You choose to say NO NO NO NO like the cat, and God gives you the power to flee temptation, and takes away your desire for it!  Praise God!  I KNOW, because He is changing me:-) 
  Read the story of Joseph fleeing from the advances of Potiphar's wife in Genesis 39.  He loved God, had a close friendship with God, and therefore chose to run as fast as he could away from temptation.  Potiphar, one of the top officials in Egypt, had to have had a beautiful wife.  Joseph was a very young man.  God gave him the victory, and that's why we can read about it in the Bible.  It shows what God wants to do for and through you, today:-)  God went on to bless Joseph dramatically!
  God loves you.  You are His child.  Let Him change your heart.
