Dog Gives Receipt

I think my 15 month old puppy, Peaches, could take some lessons from this well mannered dog that gives receipts!!!  My dog is a fireball of energy, and when it snows, she bounds through it like a graceful deer!  I hope to post a video of it if we actually have a winter this year:-)
God delivers His Word to us through the Holy Spirit.  It displays a receipt that says, "Paid in full."  Jesus has paid the price for your sin, my sin and the sin of the whole world!  He delivered that receipt on the Cross of Calvary.  He served the death sentence for sin, for you and I.  Mark 10:45, "In the same way, the Son of Man did not come to be served. He came to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many people."

Griffin's INSANE Dunk of the Year!

For you basketball fans out there around this planet, watch Griffin's amazing Dunk!  This guy was flying through the air and connected the ball with the basket like an eagle to it's nest!
We all have our mountain top moments, and our valley moments.  No matter where we are in life, Jesus has promised in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who trust the LORD will find new strength.
They will be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings; they will walk and run without getting tired.

Surfer Seeks to Break His Own Big Wave World Record With Help From a New Wetsuit

From TheBlaze:
Garrett McNamara Seeking Out 120 Foot Wave Wearing New Wetsuit With Oxygen

Garett McNamara, a pro-surfer who holds the world record for largest wave ever surfed at 90 feet, is setting out to beat his own jaw-dropping feat and he thinks a new wetsuit will help.
But not just any wetsuit will do. Designed by Camelback — the company that makes those backpacks worn by runners that allow them to stay hydrated without breaking stride — McNamara’s new wetsuit, according to TMZ, would hold an oxygen-pouch to be used in the event that the surfer gets held underwater for a longer-than-normal period of time.
Watch McNamara’s recent record-breaking 90 foot ride:

If the wetsuit wearer were held under water by the wave, he or she would simply sip the oxygen from a straw until it let up. TMZ reports McNamara as saying this could give him a few extra, vital minutes underwater, specifically while he’s seeking out a 120-foot wave in Nazare, Portugal.
Related: Last year, we reported that fellow pro-surfer Shane Dorian also has a new wetsuit in the works, which the wearer inflates by pulling a string to lift them to the surface when they are trapped under water.
Job 38:10,11-"And who took charge of the ocean
when it gushed forth like a baby from the womb?
That was me! I wrapped it in soft clouds,
and tucked it in safely at night.
Then I made a playpen for it,
a strong playpen so it couldn't run loose,
And said, 'Stay here, this is your place.
Your wild tantrums are confined to this place.'

Akiane: 13 yr. Old Child Prodigy-Amazing

This 13 yr. old girl paints some of the most beautiful pictures I have seen!  What a God given talent.  This girl also grew up with atheist parents who have since converted to Christianity!
Phillipians 4:8 says, "Summing it all up, friends, I'd say you'll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse."
What is the gift/s God has created you with?  Use them to help someone.  God will be honored!

Suicide Is NOT The Answer...Kristen Jane Anderson's Story...

A friend called me today and shared with me how her 15 yr. old daughter had been distraught for the past 2 months.  The mother was unaware of this until today.  The daughter doesn't live with her mom.  The girl's grandmother has been ill for about 2 months, and the girl's mother takes care of the grandmother.  So, the girl didn't want to load her mom down with more worries... She and her boyfriend had recently broken up, and it added to her depression.  The girl made a noose, put her neck in it, and was talking with her ex-boyfriend on the phone.  He sensed something was wrong, and jumped in his car and flew to her house.  In the meantime, she accidentally dropped the phone, and reached for it and fell, hanging.  Her ex-boyfriend made it to her house, tried to knock down the big wooden door, went around and looked in the window, and managed to get in through the back of the house.  He cut her down, and saved her life.  This is such a sweet, talented, beautiful girl.  Praise God that she survived!!!!!!!  The girl told her mom that she regretted what happened and never wants to go through it again.
Teens always need to know they have someone to talk to about anything.  They need to know that they are loved unconditionally.  They need to feel accepted.  THEY NEED TO KNOW JESUS.  They do not need to feel condemned or rejected, ever.  They need to know their identity(where they came from), purpose(why they're here), and destination(where they're going).  They need to know they came from Creator God, and He loves them deeply and has things for them to do that no one else on this planet can do.  They need to know that there really is a heaven, and when Jesus comes, they will go, if He has their heart.
  So many teens feel rejection for various reasons, and it really causes them deep wounds.  Jesus can and does heal those wounds!  Part of Psalm 147:3-6 "He heals the heartbroken and bandages their wounds. He counts the stars and assigns each a name.  Our Lord is great, with limitless strength;
we'll never comprehend what he knows and does.  God puts the fallen on their feet again."
If you've contemplated suicide, please seek help.  You can be happy, even though it seems like you are surrounded with hopelessness.  It is NOT hopeless, and you will heal.  Jesus gave His life for you.  He formed you in the womb, and smiled when He saw into the future and looked at who He created you to be.  You are not a mess up.  You are not a loser.  You are not filthy.  Jesus died and took your filth.  Jesus died and took your pain.  Jesus died so you can live.  It breaks His heart to see you hurting.  He longs to heal you.  Would you let Him do that now?  He who flung the stars into space has all power, and He can give you peace that amazes you.  Jesus died and took your rejection.  He was spit upon, laughed at, made fun of, had his clothing torn off, naked.  He took your guilt and the guilt of those who have hurt you, on the cross.  If you ask, Jesus will give you His perfect, spotless character.  He will put forgiveness for yourself and to those who have hyrt you, in your heart.  He will make your past a stepping stone to make you stronger today.  He has a bright future for you:-)  Jeremiah 29:11, " I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for."

Father & Son-Team Hoyt. Inspirational!

Devoted
You have maybe seen this story.  If you haven't, it will really touch your heart.  What a loving Father!
This is a picture of Jesus, carrying us through our life.  We are totally helpless without Him, and completely dependent upon Him for everything.   If you don't think so. try living without the food and water He provides for awhile.  He provides every breath.  What would you think if the sun quit coming up?.  What would you think if there was not one loving, compassionate person in the world? Starting to look pretty dark and hopeless without our Heavenly Father's mercy, isn't it.  He loves you so much, and longs to hold you safe, just as this father enjoys carrying his son.  Jesus died for team Hoyt and for you, so He can be with you forever.  If you haven't, please give Him your heart:-)
Thank you team Hoyt for the inspiration you are!

9 Killed in Florida Highway Pile-Ups Caused by Heavy Smoke & Fog

9 Killed in Florida Highway Pile Ups Caused by Heavy Smoke & FogFrom TheBlaze:
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — At least nine people died in a series of crashes apparently caused by heavy smoke and fog overnight on Interstate 75 in north Florida, authorities said Sunday.
Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Patrick Riordan said the pileups happened around 3:45 a.m. Sunday on both sides of I-75 south of Gainesville. All lanes of the interstate remained closed as investigators began trying to figure out what caused the early morning crashes.
Riordan said several people were injured and taken to Gainesville hospitals. Their conditions were unclear.
At least 18 people hurt in the wreck were being treated at Shands at the University of Florida, said hospital spokeswoman Allison Wilson.
The FHP had closed the highway briefly overnight because of a mixture of fog and smoke from a marsh fire in the Paynes Prairie area south of Gainesville.
Riordan said the agency had several troopers driving along the stretch of I-75 to access the situation early Sunday.
“When the visibility cleared, we reopened the road,” he said.
He said he is not sure how much time passed between the reopening of the highway and the first crash.
At least four to five large commercial vehicles and about six passenger vehicles were involved. Riordan said many were badly compressed.
Riordan said this is the worst accident he’s seen in his 27-year career with FHP.
U.S. 441 is also closed and traffic is being diverted onto U.S. 301 and State Road 27, Riordan said.
Heavy fog and smoke were blamed for another serious crash four years ago. In January 2008, four people were killed and 38 injured in a series of similar crashes on Interstate 4 between Orlando and Tampa, about 125 miles south of Sunday’s crash. More than 70 vehicles were involved in those crashes caused by fog and smoke, including one pileup that involved 40 vehicles.
Our prayers go out to all involved, and families of the victims.  John 10:10 says, " A thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I came to give life—life in all its fullness."  Bad things like this happen because there is an enemy working against us.  If it was not for God's intervention, there would be absolute chaos everywhere.
