Pat Robertson Says, "Divorce a Spouse With Alzheimer's"

Pat Robertson shocked many viewers by saying that it's okay to divorce a spouse with alzheimers because "it's like a death."  I say the Bible has the answer and in Matthew 7:12 it says, "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets."  I hope Pat's wife never gets alzheimers.
Jesus said in Matthew 19:8-9, "He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except [it be] for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery."
I get very concerned when I hear "pastors telling their audience it's okay to ignore the law of God... as if heaven doesn't see.  Pastors are responsible for who they mislead.  It's a very solemn thing to make assumptions not backed with the Bible, and lead thousands to possible ruin.
I have a loved one with memory issues right now, and they would be devastated if their spouse left them!  They love each other very much!  Only a selfish love would be concerned with their own needs instead of the other person. What would Jesus do?  He always put others first above Himself!
Do the right thing, and take care of your loved one.  Jesus will give you the strength you need.  There's a reason why their called "loved one."   This short video displays a rare kind of love, so check it out!
  God's best 2 U,       Joy J
