Risking their lives, several heroes lifted a smoking car onto it's side and pulled a motorcyclist out from under it. He had crashed into the car and his motorcycle burst into flames.
These good samaritans didn't stop to think about the car blowing up, but instead were thinking about their fellow man. The good samaritan mentioned in the Bible risked his life in a dangerous area, by saving someone who had just been robbed and beaten. He nursed his fellowman's wounds, and even paid for his care, until he was recovered. You can read the story in Luke 10:30-37
This is a picture of what Jesus has done for us, except he gave his life for you and I. John 3:16.17 " For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."
