Adrenaline junky and avid kayaker Ben Marr is going viral after this brand new video, published by Jim Vidz, hit the web.
In the heart racing video, Ben speeds down a drainage ditch in his kayak, accelerating to speeds over 55 km/h, or about 35 mph. If you are an adrenaline junky, this looks fairly mild, but fun!
Sometimes the pace of life goes by pretty fast, on the daily path you walk. It's good to set aside time for God first, family and yourself. There are plenty of ways to enjoy clean, safe and fun recreation in the great out doors, in God's creation! Take time to rest, and recharge your emotional batteries!
The 4th commandment of the 10 commandments says in Exodus 20:8-11, "Remember to observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. You have six days each week for your ordinary work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God. On that day no one in your household may do any work. This includes you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock, and any foreigners living among you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. That is why the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy."
God set aside the Seventh day Sabbath, so we could enjoy His special presence, and worship Him as Creator. It's also a great time to solidify the family union, and enjoy God's creation! Enjoy!
