We in our condition will be so excited to walk up to Jesus when He comes, and feel His everlasting arms around us! He tells us to come to Him, just as we are, and He will take our burdens and cut the chains of bondage!
Jesus is waiting for you to come to Him, so He can pull the plow, so to speak, for you. You may be working hard just to take the next step, or just to know His will. He wants to lighten your load by carrying you and your burden in His arms:-) Matthew 11:28-29, "If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest. Take the yoke I give you. Put it on your shoulders and learn from me. I am gentle and humble, and you will find rest." yoke: Yokes were put on the necks of animals, so that they could pull a plow or wagon. A yoke was a symbol of obedience and hard work.
From The Blaze:
If you could see me write this story, you would find me with
tears in my eyes — and that’s after reading the video description one
more time. Watching the video is even tougher.
That‘s because you’re about to watch a 6-year-old with palsy walk to his dad — a returning U.S. soldier — for the first time. I‘ll let the boy’s mother explain (via the Welcome Home blog):
It’s an incredibly happy story that makes stories like this one even more poignant.

When my husband left on his deployment, our 6-year-old son could not walk on his own. He has cerebral palsy. Doctors originally said that he would never walk or do much of anything. While daddy was away, he learned to walk. For his homecoming, we set it up for Michael to walk to his daddy for the first time ever! We kept the fact that he could walk a secret the whole time his dad was gone! When Fox’s Gretchen Carlson saw the video this morning, she broke down and couldn’t even finish the segment. You‘ll see why that’s not an overreaction in a second:
It’s an incredibly happy story that makes stories like this one even more poignant.
