Just in case you haven’t had enough of the daredevil films that we
like to bring you here on the Blaze, here‘s a story where you’ll get two
flicks in one read, plus a photographic bonus at the end.
The first is one the latest from the land of tightrope walkers. As Gizmodo explains, you’ll be biting your nails and yet unable to look away as you watch these thrill-seekers walk a rope hanging 700 meters above the Verdon Gorge in France:

This isn‘t the first time we’ve brought you the death-defying skills of tightrope walkers. In August, we showed you this “highliner” walking the rope at 7,000 feet high without safety gear. We’ve even showed you more stunning footage when a man walking a wire 300 feet high nearly fell to the ground.
Here’s your second daredevil of the day. Although it may seem less dangerous than walking hundreds of feet above a ravine, “Jetman” never ceases to impress the world with his antics while donning a one-of-a-kind jet-propelled wingsuit. In his latest endeavor, which occurred yesterday, former Swiss pilot Yves Rossy flew over Rio de Janeiro. Watch the footage:
According to ABC News, Jetman flew
between 120 and 180 mph. In addition to conquering the sky above
the Corcovado, which has the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue on top,
Jetman is also know for flying across the English Channel and the Grand
Canyon. The Blaze also reported his recent trip over the Swiss Alps.

For the bonus round: three Russian photographers recently scaled the 300-meter-high pylons of two Vladivostok bridges — without safety equipment — to take stunning images from such heights.
The Moscow Times reports that the trio didn’t get off scot-free
with these antics. Thanks to a post on social media, the authorities
were tipped off as to what they were doing and were waiting for them as
they descended.
