I am sharing these two posts, because of my mother's passing. Her funeral was today. I want people to know the truth:-)

I am sharing with you what Jehovah God has to say in His Holy Bible.
When Eve was being tempted by the serpent in the Garden of Eden, he told her if she tasted the fruit(which was disobeying God), that she would not die. That was the first lie spoken to humans about the subject of death, and the first sermon given on immortality of the "soul", or the "soul" never dying. Satan has not stopped spreading that lie far and wide. In Romans 6:23 God says, "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Notice it doesn't say the wages of sin is immortality in hellfire. Jesus came to die for our sins so that we don't have to, if we accept Him! If the penalty for sin could be changed, Jesus wouldn't have had to die for our sins. God said the penalty is eternal death unless we accept the gift of eternal life through Jesus, His Son. In Genesis 2:7 God says, "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." It didn't say he was given a soul, he BECAME a living soul. The body plus the breath equals a living soul. In Ecclesiastes 12:7 God says, "Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to God who gave it. Look up the word spirit in that text, and you will see it means breath. God gives the breath to a newborn baby, and when someone dies, the breath goes back to God.
In Ecclesiastes9:5,6, God says, 'The living know that they shall die, but the dead know nothing. Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished. God says in Psalm 115:17, "The dead do not praise the Lord, nor any who go down into silence. In Job 14:12, God says, So man lies down and does not rise, till the heavens are no more, they will not be awaked nor roused out of their sleep. 2 Peter 3:10 tells us when the heavens are no more, "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise. and the elements will melt with fervent heat." Job 14:13 says, "Oh, that You would hide me in the grave, that You would conceal me till the wrath is past." Revelation 15:1 says, "Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous: seven angels having the seven last plagues, for in them the wrath of God is complete." Job 14:14 says, "If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my hard service I will wait, till my change comes." I Corinthians 15: 51-54 it says, "Behold, I tell you a mystery, we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed-in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written; "Death is swallowed up in victory."
Deuteronomy 18:10-12 says, "There shall not be found among you any who makes his son or daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one whom interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who conjures spells, or a medium or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For all who do these things are an abomination to the Lord.
