  His owner was proud he saved the clock, and then whamo! 
  That's kind of how we are in life.  We look at ourselves, and pride gets in the way.  We think we can do a pretty good job on our own, and then things sometimes fall apart, leaving us down and out and lonely. 
  We have all broken God's ten commandment law, which is a copy of His character, love.  Love to God first, and love to those around us. 
  No matter how many times you have messed up, Jesus didn't.  He will forgive you of all your sins now, not later.  He will then give you His righteousness immediately, not later.  Your choice is to give Him your heart and life, to surrender your will to His. 
  No matter who is against you, or how much guilt you have, Jesus took it upon Himself on the cross.
  Isaiah 54:17, "No tool that is made to fight against you will do well. And you will prove wrong every tongue that says you are guilty. This is the gift given to the servants of the Lord. I take away their guilt and make them right,” says the Lord."
  His word has creative power, and when He speaks in your heart and over your life, you will change:-)  The victory is in Jesus, not yourself!
