What an amazing shot! I'm sure this player didn't wake up that morning saying, I'm going to make a 50' basket today! His team members helped him to victory! We all have bad days and good days. Trevor had an awesome, photo finish, shooting his great basket! No matter if you're riding high on the mountain top, or plugging away in the valley, God has a plan. On the final game of the regular season in Tuscaloosa Saturday afternoon, University of Alabama’s Trevor Releford ended the game against the rival University of Georgia Bulldogs with an unbelievable 50-foot lob.
At 20-11, Alabama is hoping for an at-large bid to the upcoming NCAA tournament. After giving up a 17-point lead Saturday, Releford redeemed himself following a turnover by heaving the game-winning shot from half court as time expired in a game that looked set for overtime at 58-58.
