Frog Sitting On A Bench Like A Human

What a ham!  This frog sitting on a bench looks like he doesn't have a care in the world! 

  It is said that A frog can be set in cool water in a pan, and the pan can then be turned on a low heat.  The frog will stay in that pan, thinking he's okay when actually he can die in the water that gets too hot for him to handle.  He adjusts to the slow rise in temperature, and doesn't realize his peril.   Whoever tried that, shouldn't have!

  Life is like that.  We are unaware of our sin condition.  We're quite comfortable when things go the way we want.  We think we're doing okay, when in reality, we are in peril.  God's Holy Spirit warns us when we are going the way of danger.  God wants us to see our need of Him, so He will try to wake us up to realize that we are absolutely lost without a saving relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ. 

  This earth is like a giant kettle with the heat turned on low.  Jesus came down and put thermometers everywhere, so that you can know when you are at the point of danger!  The only way out of the kettle is asking Jesus to remove you.  He lifts you up out of trouble, and delivers you from sin! 

  Don't sit on the bench like this frog, any longer!  Cry out to Jesus for help!  He can take you out of the kettle, and to a safe place, no longer captive!

  Psalm 68:18, "Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them."
