I am still learning to thank God in the hard times, instead of being negative and ungrateful, which makes my fuse short. Being thankful to God for the daily "impossibilities" really makes life much more enjoyable, not only for me, but for those around me! Your reactions to life affect everyone around you. Many times, your attitude is picked up by those around you, and you can either ruin, or brighten someones day! Ask God to put a song in your heart, and thankfulness on your tongue!

Amy, congratulations! This is so amazing to see someone enjoy, for the first time, something most of us take for granted! Imagine hearing for the first time at 26 years old! This reminds me of Helen Keller who could not hear, see or speak, yet her faith in Creator God was strong!
Wherever you are in this world, when you cry out to Creator God for help, He immediately answers! He sent His only Son to this planet to live a sinless life as a human, God with skin on. Then, Jesus died on a cross with my guilt, your guilt and the guilt of the whole world, upon His shoulders. He felt the separation from His Father that sin causes, so you don't have to! All I can say is, this is absolutely adorable!
These Golden Retriever pups remind me of my dog, Peaches, when she was little! Always high energy, but would fall asleep where she landed! When I got her at 2 months old, she was already big, but adorable! I learned a lot with her, and had some loving friends, Stan & Sue, that enabled me to keep her! I am forever grateful to them!!! Peaches is my close companion and sooooooo loving! She is Labradoodle German Shepard mix, and so cute! She is pictured with me on this blog:-)

Ever felt like you were taking 2 steps forward and 4 backward? We all have moments like these adorable seals on the slip n' slide surf board! What is interesting, is the other seals didn't seem to care about those around them that were in need, as long as they had what they thought they needed and were where they thought they wanted to be. They seemed oblivious to the needs of those next to them!
I have experienced this myself, in the world and in the church, firsthand. There are those that have Christ's heart, and there are those that claim to have Christ's heart. There is a big difference!
I am far from perfect, but the good news is, Jesus gives us His perfect character! He implants the desire in our hearts to help those around us, struggling in the storm tossed waves of life. If we see someone struggling financially, emotionally, physically, spiritually, mentally, ect... we are to help lift them on board the life raft, the arms of Jesus Christ! If we ignore their needs, they may never see Jesus! If in the church, we ignore each other' needs, we are not on board, ourselves.
It's called giving without expecting anything in return! That is Jesus' love!

Play of the Year? Alabama Guard Hits 50-Foot Half Court Buzzer-Beater to Win in Season’s Last Game
On the final game of the regular season in Tuscaloosa Saturday afternoon, University of Alabama’s Trevor Releford ended the game against the rival University of Georgia Bulldogs with an unbelievable 50-foot lob.
At 20-11, Alabama is hoping for an at-large bid to the upcoming NCAA tournament. After giving up a 17-point lead Saturday, Releford redeemed himself following a turnover by heaving the game-winning shot from half court as time expired in a game that looked set for overtime at 58-58.

Jesus, Creator God, came down from heaven, to live on this little speck in the universe, God with skin on, to know what it feels like to be tempted, to be you and I. He shared His lunch with others as a boy. He healed multitudes. He washed the feet of His friends. This is the Creator of the universe we're talking about! Someone likened what Jesus did, by washing His disciples' feet, to being comparable to us kneeling down to lovingly wash the feet of cockroaches. Not that God looks at us that way, but it just gives us a view of how utterly helpless we are without Jesus! Without Him, we are nothing!
Like Jesse, Jesus gladly helps us because He loves us and wants us to be happy. Thank You, Jesus, Heavenly Father and Holy Spirit for your mercy and humble, Servant love!

Crazy hamsters not dizzy while playing?
I remember, as a child, I rode the silo ride, where you stand up with your back against the cage, which was circular, then it would spin, and centrifugal force would hold you in, as the bottom of the cage dropped out! I was so sick to my stomach afterwards, for two hours, I felt like I was going to puke! How do these hamsters spin so fast without even getting dizzy?!
This earth is spinning in space, and God keeps it at just the right speed. He made gravity to hold us in place, so we don't fly off into space!
Isaiah 40:22, "God sits high above the round ball of earth. The people look like mere ants. He stretches out the skies like a canvas— yes, like a tent canvas to live under." Creator God sustains every living thing on this planet, and in the universe.
The longer the earth spins, the more sin is causing nature and people to get out of control. When Jesus comes back, soon, we will fly to heaven with Him, and take a celestial tour of His other spinning planets that He has created and sustains!

Ever been moody?:-) It seems like our feelings change with the daily circumstances of life. No matter if you feel guilty, no matter if you feel exhausted, no matter if you can't seem to relax, no matter if you are angry, no matter if you are worried or can't sleep, God can take care of you and your situation! He longs to see you happy, like this doggie, when his owner said, "Good boy!" God wants you to know He accepts you just the way you are, but He loves you too much to let you stay where you are!

This is great! I don't believe cats are jerks, but I do believe they get bored easily! They tend to believe that they are in control, and that they should have food and massages, on command! They probably dream about Fido getting thrown outside!

Matthew 25:32, "The people of every nation will be gathered in front of him. He will separate them as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats." When Jesus comes, He will separate those who have accepted Him as their Saviour, from those who denied His repeated attempts to know and to save them.
