Cat Plays Fruit Ninja On An iPad 2!
This cat is having a blast playing fruit ninja on the iPad! He is wondering why the animated objects are disappearing, and why they're not flying out the side of it! This kitty thinks there should be something where there is actually nothing! Text from God, Hebrews 11:3, "By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen." The kitty was looking for something where nothing was. If kitty had been watching Creator God speaking words, and watching things created where it looked like there was nothing, he would have been spell bound!

Only Eight Pilots Are Qualified To Land On This Runway!

There is a small airport in the Himalayan mountains with a 6,500-foot runway and picturesque surroundings. When flying into Paro Airport in Bhutan passengers may be staring in terrified awe of the 18,000-foot mountainous peaks or have their eyes squeezed tightly shut as the pilot weaves through the range.
But only eight pilots are qualified to fly into Paro. And up until earlier this year, only one airline serviced the airport. The Daily Mail reports that take off and landing can only take place in daylight hours:
Up until July, the Daily Mail reports, Druk Air was the only airline flying into the airport, which Boeing has said is “one of the world’s most difficult for takeoffs and landings.” Buddha Air also serves the facility, which takes in about 30,000 people each year.
In 2009, the airport was named by Travel Leisure the number 1 most dangerous airport in the world. Also making the list were the International Airport of Princess Juliana, St.Martin, Reagan National Airport, Washington DC, and Airport of Gibraltar.

Here's another white knuckle plane landing! American Airlines Boeing 757, crazy landing in Honduras! There are some good, dedicated and talented pilots flying those machines!
Sometimes in your life, you may seem to have it under control, and then things fall apart into a thousand pieces. It's like trying to solve an iPad 2 puzzle where the rules and the pieces that are supposed to fit together, keep changing!
Let me give you a word of advice, from experience! You cannot make it work. Only Jesus can fit the pieces of your life together perfectly. It doesn't mean things will always be euphoric, but it does mean that you have Someone who cares, to turn to. Someone who CAN do something about your problems is willing to take over, and guide you in the right direction. Jesus Christ is committed to getting you safely to your destination, which is going to heaven with Him, when He comes in the clouds! No airplane necessary! This New Year, let Jesus take control of your heart and life!

Lion Cub Gives Us His Best Roar!
This is so cute! A few months, and this lion cub will give his best roar, and it will make windows rattle! I was at a zoo one time, and heard a male lion roaring inside a lion house. It was sooooooo loud, I didn't know if I wanted to go in! I can't imagine hearing that while walking through a jungle!
God's text message, 1 Peter 5:8, "Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." He is a roaring lion, but we can't hear the roar, as he tries to sneak up on us. The Holy Spirit warns us when danger is near, and when we call out to Jesus, He immediately answers, and makes the devourer flee! Praise God!

13 Foot Python In Family's Pool!
In Miami extra help had to be called in Christmas day, after the animal control person couldn't control a Burmese python! The family found it that morning, and called emergency. The first animal control officer wrestled the snake out of the pool, but the snake was stronger, and made it back in the water. It took 4 officers to capture the python!
This would be the day I would find another job! I'm sorry, but there is no way I would touch that thing!
Text from God, Revelation 12:9, "So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him." There is a battle going on, and the enemy is a powerful deceiver. He has no power aside of God, and that's the great part! Man Descends Into Volcano Within 300 Ft. Of Lava!

As a general rule, lava is best seen from a great distance. That is, of course, unless you're a group of daredevils who, led by Kiwi adventurer Geoff Mackley, descended 640 feet (195 meters) into Vanuatu's Marum Volcano to witness the explosive bowels of the Earth firsthand in 2010. The resulting video, in which a man in a heatproof suit came within 300 feet (91 meters) of a viciously boiling lake of lava, went viral. It's pretty clear that live volcanoes are unpredictable and their craters offer all sorts of inhospitable challenges: toxic gas, extreme heat, tumbling rocks, and unwarranted explosions. Cat Soothing Crying Baby To Sleep
Once again, an animal shows amazing intelligence and love.
No matter how much your hurting, no matter how you feel, Jesus is with you, His love is real.
Jesus is so near to us that He counts every tear. Psalm 56:8 says, "You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book."
Jesus says in Hebrews 13:5, "I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.”

Rare Footage Of The Lovejoy Comet
This brings to mind text message from God, Amos 5:8, "It is the Lord who created the stars, the Pleiades and Orion. He turns darkness into morning and day into night. Dan Burbank, commander of the International Space Station, encountered a sight Wednesday even more incredible than the everyday views from his vantage point 240 miles above Earth’s horizon. The amazing Comet Lovejoy, which had recently “grazed” the sun, was captured on camera by Burbank who describes the sight as “the most amazing thing” he had “ever seen in space:”The video is hundreds of still images of the comet taken by Burbank at nighttime on December 21. The comet was only discovered on November 27 of this year and was named after the amateur Australian astronomer who spotted it, Terry Lovejoy.
The 660-foot-wide icy rock has already survived a recent brush with destruction, coming uncomfortably close to the sun last week. Only 10 percent of the comet – which was probably millions of tons – survived the encounter.
Astronomers say the comet came close to where temperatures hit several million degrees.U.S. Navy solar researcher Karl Battams tells the Associated Press that Lovejoy came within 75,000 miles of the sun’s surface. W. Dean Pesnell, project scientist for NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory, tells AP that the newly discovered comet probably is related to a comet that came by Earth on the way to the sun in 1106. Astronomers say it may be another 800 or 900 years before it nears the sun again.

The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” So, we're all tempted, and we need to not blame others when we fall. Jesus is there to pick us up again, and help us go forward. We also need not be hypocrites and pretend we don't have temptation and issues. We all have things we need to let Jesus heal. The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” So, we're all tempted, and we need to not blame others when we fall. Jesus is there to pick us up again, and help us go forward. We also need not be hypocrites and pretend we don't have temptation and issues. We all have things we need to let Jesus heal. Student Considered 'Brain Dead' Awoke Just Hours After Doctor Suggests Pulling Plug!

It’s an event being called a “modern day miracle” and the best Christmas present “ever ever ever”. Sam Schmid, a 21-year-old University of Arizona student, awoke from a coma just hours after the doctors broached the subject of taking him off life support and organ donation with his parents.
Good Morning America reports that Schmid was in a car crash in October that killed two fellow passengers, leaving him with a brain injury that had “all the odds stacked against him,” according to his neurosurgeon, Dr. Robert Spetzler. Now doctors expect Schmid to make a full recovery.
“It seems like we were being led down a path to plan for the worst and that things were not going to work out,” said John Schmid. “The miracle, to put it bluntly, was that in a matter of seven days, we went from organ donation to rehab. What a roller coaster it was.”

Spetzler, from the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Phoenix, operated on Schmid who had an aneurysm among other complications from the accident. While it didn’t seem like Schmid was responding, the procedure Spetzler conducted eventually worked.
Good Morning America continues:
For days Schmid didn’t seem to be responding, but what puzzled his doctor was that he did not see fatal injuries on the MRI scan. So he decided to keep Schmid on life support longer.
“There was plenty wrong — he had a hemorrhage, an aneurysm and a stroke from the part of the aneurysm,” Spetzler said. “But he didn’t have a blood clot in the most vital part of his brain, which we know he can’t recover from. And he didn’t have a massive stroke that would predict no chance of a useful existence.”
At this point, the family was given an honest prognosis of Schmid’s outlook — it wasn’t positive. Schmid’s mother, Susan Regan, said that she just kept praying. Schmid eventually followed the doctors commands:Good Morning America reports that Schmid doesn’t have any recollection of the accident. Read the whole Good Morning America story for more details.“Nobody could ever give me a better Christmas present than this — ever, ever, ever,” Regan said.“I tell everyone, if they want to call it a modern-day miracle, this is a miracle,” said Regan, 59.. “I have friends who are atheists who have called me and said, ‘I am going back to church.’”

Catching Cloud Waves!

Kayakers Go Over A 90 Ft. Waterfall!
Was going over a 90 ft. waterfall ever a dream of yours? Call me crazy... I know it's only about half the fall of Niagara's 185 ft. falls, Canadian side, and not near the flow of water, but really? They have a lot more courage than I do! These guys were taking a huge risk with their lives! It is pretty amazing to see on camera, though! Interestingly, one guy said he will not do it again:-)

This commercial reminds me of life. There are many times we are faced with unexpected circumstances, dangers, disappointments and failures. We are still to keep persevering, running the race of life with Jesus. We may fall, but Jesus lifts us up, stronger than before, steady on our feet, because we begin to realize He holds us. 1Corinthians 9:24 says, "Don't you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! Phillipians 3:14 says, "I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us."
No matter how guilty you feel, no matter how many times you've messed up, no matter how many angry words you have said, no matter how you have hurt others, no matter how you have hurt yourself, no matter how many times you have fallen, Jesus invites you to take His hand, accept His forgiveness and walk the race, basking in His unconditional love! North Koreans Weeping Hysterically Over Leader Kim Jong-il's Death
One has to wonder about mass population control and brainwashing when watching the video showing North Koreans weeping hysterically over the death of Kim Jong-il. I feel so sorry for these people! He was a brutal dictator that cut off communication between the outside world and the people under his tyrannical dictatorship.
North Korea is approximately the size of the state of Mississippi, in the USA, and has the world's fourth largest military, and a million man army. There is so much starvation and brutality in North Korea, and one has to wonder if Kim Jong-il's successor will be better or worse. Pray for the people of North Korea! My heart goes out to them. Every human deserves freedom! And if you live in the United States of America, please do everything you can to preserve our freedoms! There are many that would tear them down.
North Korea needs the hope of Jesus! When Jesus comes, soon, all other kingdoms will be finished, and His kingdom will stand forever!

Dead Sea Scrolls Featuring The Oldest Complete Example Of The Ten Commandments!

God's law is still important! The first 4 commandments are about a relationship with God, and the last 6 about relationships with those around us! The 4th commandment, the Seventh day Sabbath commandment, is the only one that recoginzes God as Creator, and it's the only one that says remember...It is also a sign that He sanctifies us! Ezekiel 20:12 says, "Moreover I also gave them My Sabbaths, to be a sign between them and Me, that they might know that I am the LORD who sanctifies them." Praise God!

It’s been a big year for the Dead Sea Scrolls. In November, the Blaze reported on major developments in efforts to determine the religious texts’ definitive authors. Now, a new exhibit called “Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Biblical Time,” which will feature a piece of the oldest complete example of the Ten Commandments. These amazing artifacts will be shown in New York City’s Discovery Times Square exhibit space.
This particular portion of the Ten Commandments is on leather parchment and dates back 2,000 years to between 50BC to 1AD. It is a portion of the Dead Sea Scrolls, which account for nearly 900 manuscripts that were discovered between 1947 and 1956 inside of caves in Qumran (West Bank). It is believed that a mysterious, Jewish sect known as the “Essenes” authored the documents (read more about them here).
According to the Daily Mail, the document consists of four complete and two damaged columns. Risa Levitt Kohn, a professor of Hebrew Bible and Judaism at San Diego State University, says that the display offers visitors a first-hand view of a document that has shaped and transformed Western law.
“You can actually see, up close, the oldest parchment copy of laws that have influenced so much of western religious and secular culture,” Kohn says. “Indeed, this text has had such a large and lasting influence on American civil and criminal law.”
Written in Hebrew, the text showcases the Ten Commandments, which can be found in the Old Testament books of Deuteronomy and Exodus. Experts believe that this particular scrolls was used as a prayer leaflet.
As Mail Online notes, this isn’t the oldest version of the commandments, though it is the best preserved (the oldest is Nash Papyrus, which is at the University of Cambridge and dates back to 150 BC).

Jesus Christ is the one and only Saviour of this planet. This planet is the one lost sheep in the universe. Great White Shark!
The Great White Shark is a most amazing creature! I prefer not to meet one face to face until heaven, because there, they won't hurt anyone! Maybe I can ride one them then!
The Bible says in 1Peter 5:8, "Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." I think the Great White would fit into the category of the lion! Satan is the enemy of our souls, and we need the Holy Spirit to alert us to danger, temptation. We stay alert through prayer, Bible study and listening to the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit speaks to each one of us about right and wrong, and warns us when the enemy is trying to pull a fast one on us! Praise God for His mercy, and praise Jesus for crushing the enemy's head for us! Just call out the name of Jesus, and He immediately answers! The enemy can't get through Him!

Highlining The Trollveggan, Norway
Highlining while roped to the line, like these extreme sport enthusiasts, is like living life with Jesus. Highlining while not secured to a line or without a parachute, is like living life without Jesus. Jesus is our safety. He is the One we can hold onto with certainty, knowing we are secure if we are tied into Him! Psalm 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength,always ready to help in times of trouble." Jesus is your lifeline, your refuge, your security. Trust Him now, don't walk through your life on the dangerous side!

"This was a very cool moment because I've been into highlining for a relatively long time compared to Alexander, and he's already better than me. Second Smallest Preemie In The U.S. To Go Home By New Year's!
LOS ANGELES (The Blaze/AP) — Today is Haydee Ibarra due date. But she isn’t visiting the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center to give birth. She has actually been visiting the hospital nearly every day to visit her daughter Melinda Star Guido who was born 22 weeks pre-mature and is believed to be the second smallest baby to survive in the U.S. and third in the world.
At birth, Melinda was so tiny she could fit into the palm of her doctor’s hand. When she was born in August, she weighed just 9 1/2 ounces — less than a can of soda. While most infants her size don’t survive, there are some growing up into healthy children and adults to this day, maintaining the debate among doctors of what age and weight is viable for an infant to survive.

Ibarra caressed Melinda through the portholes of the incubator where nurses pinned up a homemade sign bearing her name. Now weighing four pounds, Melinda gripped Ibarra’s pinky finger and yawned.
Melinda, Melinda,” she cooed at her daughter dressed in a polka dot onesie. “You’re awake today.”
During her pregnancy, Ibarra suffered from high blood pressure, which can be dangerous for both mother and fetus. She was transferred from a hospital near her San Fernando Valley home to the county’s flagship hospital, which was better equipped to handle high-risk pregnancies.
There was a problem with the placenta, the organ that nourishes the developing fetus. The fetus, however, was not getting proper nutrition, blood and oxygen. Doctors knew Melinda would weigh less than a pound, but they were surprised at how small and fragile she was.
“The first few weeks, it was touch and go. None of us thought the baby was going to make it,” said Dr. Rangasamy Ramanathan, who oversees premature infants.
Even if she survived, doctors told Ibarra and her husband Yovani Guido, children born this extremely premature can have developmental delays and impairments such as blindness, deafness or cerebral palsy.
Ibarra, who previously had a stillborn, told doctors to do whatever necessary to help her baby.
“They said, `We’ll take the chance. Please try.’ So we said. `OK we’ll try,’” Ramanathan recalled.
Melinda was delivered by cesarean section at 24 weeks and was immediately transferred to the NICU where a team of doctors and nurses kept watch around the clock. Infants born before 37 weeks are considered premature.
Melinda was kept insulated in an incubator and was hooked up to a machine to aid her breathing. She got nutrition through a feeding tube. Her mother said her skin felt like plastic because it was so thin.
“It takes a lot of good care and a lot of good luck. Most of them don’t survive,” said pediatrician Dr. Edward Bell of the University of Iowa who keeps an online database of the world’s smallest surviving babies who were less than a pound at birth.
The list currently contains 126 babies dating back to 1936. Since submission is voluntary, it does not represent all survivors.
Ten babies weighing less than a pound were born last year and survived. Melinda joins three other tiny survivors delivered this year in Berkeley; Seoul, South Korea; and Iowa City, Iowa. All are bigger than Melinda, who is not eligible to be listed until she gets discharged.
Most tiny babies who survive tend to be female. That’s because female fetuses mature faster than males of the same gestational age. Having more developed lungs and other vital organs increases odds of survival.
Bell published a study last year that found many survivors struggle with health and learning problems. For those for whom growth data are available, many are short and underweight for their age.
There are some success stories.
The smallest surviving baby born weighing 9.2 ounces is now a healthy 7-year-old and another who weighed 9.9 ounces at birth is an honors college student studying psychology. Their progress was detailed in a study published this week in the journal Pediatrics by doctors at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois where the girls were born.

A month after she was born, she was treated for an eye disorder that’s common in premature babies. She faced her biggest test last month when she underwent surgery to close an artery that usually seals after birth.

Melinda can breathe by herself, but still uses an oxygen tube as a precaution. On Wednesday, an ophthalmologist checked out her eyes and said everything looked good.
After the checkup, Ibarra lifted Melinda out of the incubator and sat in a rocking chair, cradling her.

At birth, Melinda was so tiny she could fit into the palm of her doctor’s hand. When she was born in August, she weighed just 9 1/2 ounces — less than a can of soda. During her pregnancy, Ibarra suffered from high blood pressure, which can be dangerous for both mother and fetus. She was transferred from a hospital near her San Fernando Valley home to the county’s flagship hospital, which was better equipped to handle high-risk pregnancies.
There was a problem with the placenta, the organ that nourishes the developing fetus. The fetus, however, was not getting proper nutrition, blood and oxygen. Doctors knew Melinda would weigh less than a pound, but they were surprised at how small and fragile she was.
“The first few weeks, it was touch and go. None of us thought the baby was going to make it,” said Dr. Rangasamy Ramanathan, who oversees premature infants.
Even if she survived, doctors told Ibarra and her husband Yovani Guido, children born this extremely premature can have developmental delays and impairments such as blindness, deafness or cerebral palsy.
Ibarra, who previously had a stillborn, told doctors to do whatever necessary to help her baby.
“They said, `We’ll take the chance. Please try.’ So we said. `OK we’ll try,’” Ramanathan recalled.

Melinda was kept insulated in an incubator and was hooked up to a machine to aid her breathing. She got nutrition through a feeding tube. Her mother said her skin felt like plastic because it was so thin.
“It takes a lot of good care and a lot of good luck. Most of them don’t survive,” said pediatrician Dr. Edward Bell of the University of Iowa who keeps an online database of the world’s smallest surviving babies who were less than a pound at birth.
The list currently contains 126 babies dating back to 1936. Since submission is voluntary, it does not represent all survivors.
Ten babies weighing less than a pound were born last year and survived. Melinda joins three other tiny survivors delivered this year in Berkeley; Seoul, South Korea; and Iowa City, Iowa. All are bigger than Melinda, who is not eligible to be listed until she gets discharged.
Most tiny babies who survive tend to be female. That’s because female fetuses mature faster than males of the same gestational age. Having more developed lungs and other vital organs increases odds of survival.
Bell published a study last year that found many survivors struggle with health and learning problems. For those for whom growth data are available, many are short and underweight for their age.
There are some success stories.
The smallest surviving baby born weighing 9.2 ounces is now a healthy 7-year-old and another who weighed 9.9 ounces at birth is an honors college student studying psychology. Their progress was detailed in a study published this week in the journal Pediatrics by doctors at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois where the girls were born.
